[OPINION] Bridge of deceit, nightmares and frustrations

IF the Duterte administration will cancel the much-ballyhooed Iloilo-Guimaras-Negros Bridge Project estimated to be worth US $1 billion, it will be tantamount to canceling the dreams and aspirations of the entire Western Visayas altogether. Opinion

I had the chance recently to sitdown and drink coffee which eventually ended in a lengthy dinner with the controversial Police Lt. Col. [EDITORIAL] Reality check

The Senate Blue Ribbon Committee's investigation on the Good Conduct Time Allowance Law implementation has taken an unprecedented side turn hitting point blank resigned Philippine National Police Chief (PNP) Chief General Oscar David Albayalde who was visibly caught unprepared when the forces of the retired men in uniform gathered and rallied against him detailing his participation and protection of the alleged "ninja cops" who executed a drug-bust in Mexico, Pampanga last 2013 and pilfered the 160 kgs of shabu recovered from a Chinese national for their personal end. It was also noted that out of the 67 cases, 22 victims were quite young, aging between 10 to 19 years old. Opinion

    [OPINION] Espenido is not Hercules

THOSE who expect newly designated Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) deputy city director for operations, Lieutenant Colonel Jovie Espendio to singlehandedly erase all the drug traffickers in Bacolod City from the face of the earth must either be high on drugs or just simply foolish and naive. [OPINION] But Joe III isn’t the one hurting

IF the Treñas administration thinks persecuting city hall employees who may have supported former city mayor Jose “Joe III” Espinosa III in the recent elections is one way of getting back at Joe III, it’s dead wrong. Opinion
